Party under the Blue Moon

August 31. The Cyprus Planetarium, Nicosia. 8:30PM

Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience as you ZOOM IN on the MOON! The Blue Moon is a rare celestial event that graces our skies once every two to three years. Join the Cyprus Planetarium on August 31st, at 8:30 PM for a fascinating journey through the Moon’s craters, mountains, and more. Secure one of the limited 200 tickets, which include delicious finger food and beverages. Don’t forget your telescope – an Educator will be there to answer all your lunar questions. Beach Milonga

Tango lovers, get ready for a night of passion under the stars! Join TangoAmor, Tango Del Encanto, and AADS for a sizzling Beach Milonga on Saturday, September 2nd. The rhythm kicks in at 6 PM and dances on till 9:30 PM. Best of all, it’s free! The event kicks off at 5 PM with the ‘Visual Rhythms’ art exhibition by EVOHK artist-run space, followed by a collaborative painting workshop inspired by Larnaka’s patterns. Children can enjoy traditional games and music workshops, while adults can craft poetry and explore percussion and light art. Get ready for some fun and friendly competition with Mixed Doubles! Here’s the scoop: it’s all about teamwork in this category, with men and women joining forces. The format includes exciting Round Robin Matches in groups, with each set going up to 6 games. And here’s a twist: the men must serve from underneath! Full Moon Sea Kayaking

September 1. Governor’s Beach, Limassol. 6PM
